Danny W. Giacomo

	Danny W. Giacomo, age 49, of rural Pinckneyville, died at 6:28 a.m. Monday, November 10, 2003 at his residence.
	Danny was born June 3, 1954 in Du Quoin, the son of Wayne D. and Wanda L. (Davis) Giacomo.  Danny was united in marriage to Anita Poole on February 14, 1996 in Benton and she survives.  Danny was a lifelong resident of the Pinckneyville area and was employed as a laborer for General Cable of Du Quoin for 25 years.  He was a member of the First Christian Church of Pinckneyville, American Bowling Congress, Murphysboro Moose and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
	Danny is survived by his wife Anita of rural Pinckneyville; father, Wayne D. Giacomo and wife Kathleen of Pinckneyville; mother, Wanda L. Skorczewski and husband John, also of Pinckneyville; grandmother, Geneva Davis of Pinckneyville; step-son, Gary Chapman of Fort Hood, Tex.; step-daughter, Melissa Chapman of West Frankfort; two sisters, Debbie L. Hitt and husband Steven of Tamaroa and Donita R. Nehrkorn and husband John of Pinckneyville; two step-brothers, Dr. John Skorczewski Jr. and wife Laura and Charles Skorczewski and wife Marty, both of Nashville and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other close relatives and friends.  Danny was preceded in death by his grandfather, Delbert Davis.
	Funeral services were Thursday morning, November 13, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville with Brother Darrell McCombs officiating.  Interment was in the Mueller Hill Cemetery in Pinckneyville.
	Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville on Wednesday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. and again on Thursday morning from 8 a.m. until services.
	Memorials may  be made to the Mooseheart Children's Home.
